A Marquette middle school teacher is arrested on charges of sexual abuse.
City police and the school superintendent’s office say it’s Kevin Wilson, a teacher at Bothwell Middle School.
He was arrested this afternoon on 2 counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Wilson is specifically accused of having sexual relations with female students while he taught.
He’s been on leave from his teaching responsibilities for 3 weeks.
That’s how long ago school administrators learned he was under investigation.
Wilson is in the Marquette County Jail on $100,000 bond on each charge.
The school district is asking anyone who has a school-related question about this to call Superintendent Jon Hartwig’s office.
