Youth Group Fundraiser

The youth fellowship program at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette is raising money for a trip full of fellowship and community service.

The kids are headed to New Orleans.

The national youth gathering this summer is something the young members at this church attend every three years.

And in preparation for their service trip, members of the church have been fundraising in many different ways.

On Sunday, the church held a talent show and a pie auction to raise money for the cost of their trip.

And the event was organized by the teens.

There was also a friendly competition between two youth ministry staff members and the associate pastor to see who could raise the most money.
