Woman receives minor injuries from roll-over
ISHPEMING — A woman was involved in a roll-over accident tonight a little after 6 p.m.
According to an Ishpeming police officer on the scene the woman was driving eastbound on US-41 in Ishpeming when the driver of a trailer in front of her locked their brakes. The woman reportedly broke and swerved onto the shoulder in attempts to avoid an accident. As she swerved she tried to avoid a traffic sign but was too late, hitting the sign as she veered left causing her vehicle to roll-over several times. Reportedly the woman has minor injuries at this time.
The driver of the trailer did not stop at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
