Woman injured in two car accident
One woman was injured following a two car accident in Ishpeming Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Second Street just after 2 p.m.
Ishpeming Police say a vehicle was stopped northbound on Second Street and appeared to drive through a red light, hitting a vehicle driving eastbound on U.S. 41.
They say one woman was taken to Marquette General Hospital for the treatment of unknown injuries.
The Michigan State Police, Bell Hospital EMS, and Ishpeming Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
