MARQUETTE — Thirty two year old Alison Dehlin of Ishpeming appeared in 96th District Court Thursday morning for her scheduled arraignment.
Dehlin is charged with one count of forgery, one count of uttering and publishing and one count of embezzlement of at least one thousand dollars, but less than twenty thousand. She is accused of illegally cashing in two separate money orders in July of 2015 worth a total of $1,480.
Dehlin faces the embezzling charge for allegedly cashing a money order from the Preserve at Orianna Ridge without their consent. That incident is said to have happened in May of 2014. Dehlin is currently out of jail after posting bond.
She’s due back in court February 29th for a preliminary exam.
