SAGOLA — One person is in jail after a rollover accident in Sagola Thursday afternoon.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post responded to the accident just before three o’clock on M–69 just east of North Dickinson School. A 2009 Chevy Impala had left the roadway and rolled onto its roof.

Witnessed reported seeing a female, who smelled of intoxicants, driven away from the scene in a pickup. She was located later on Calumet Mine Road and arrested for operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a crash.

The woman is lodged at the Dickinson County Jail and her name will be released after arraignment.

There were no reported injuries.
