MARQUETTE — A Marquette woman is in jail after an alleged theft of medication.
Marquette City Police officers say 29-year-old Kaylee Katherine Comment was arrested Friday on charges of larceny in a building and possession of analogues. Larceny in a building is a felony punishable by up to four years in prison, and possession of analogues is a felony that carries a maximum two-year penalty.
The arrest stems from an investigation into the theft of prescription medication from a local pharmacy on February 10th. Comment’s bond was set at ten percent of $10,000 on each count. Police say Comment was unable to post bond and is lodged at the Marquette County Jail. She is scheduled for a preliminary exam on March 8th.
