Wisconsin woman injured in ATV accident

A Wisconsin woman was injured this morning after her ATV struck a tree in Dickinson County.

Michigan State Police say the accident occurred at 10 a.m. near Old Carney Lake Road in Breitung Township. 26-year old Brittany Bryngelson of Niagara, Wisconsin was reportedly riding an ATV when she lost control and struck a tree. Police say Bryngelson left the roadway after she attempted to look behind her vehicle.

She was transported to Dickinson County Hospital for unknown injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Bryngelson was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

MSP Troopers from the Iron Mountain Post were assisted by Integrated First Response EMS.
