Wisconsin man waives extradition

A fugitive wanted in connection with Kaukauna, Wisconsin attempted murder investigation waived extradition Thursday morning in Menominee County District Court.

Wisconsin authorities now have 48-hours to pick up 37–year–old James Anderson and take him back to Kaukauna where he faces attempted murder charges.

Deputies from the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department and Michigan State Police Troopers from the Gladstone Post arrested Anderson in a rustic campground near Holmes Township without incident.

Anderson is lodged in the Menominee County Jail awaiting extradition.

If Wisconsin authorities do not retrieve Anderson in the allotted time, a Menominee County District Court Judge will re-examine the case and allow more time for extradition.
