Wisconsin fugitive arrested in Upper Peninsula

IRON MOUNTAIN — A fugitive from Wisconsin was arrested Tuesday morning in Dickinson County.

Iron Mountain Police say 27-year-old Kyle James Murray of Merrill, Wisconsin, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections Parole Detainer around 9:00 a.m. without incident. Murray was believed to be in the Iron Mountain area several times over the past few days. He was located after a surveillance operation was conducted by members of the KIND Drug Enforcement Team.

Murray is lodged at the Dickinson County Correctional Center awaiting extradition to Wisconsin. According to Wisconsin’s Circuit Court records, a retail theft complaint was filed against Murray on January 13th in Lincoln County.
