Wildcat Willy brought a husky to work today
MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University’s marketing department strikes again. In a little jab to NMU’s rival Michigan Tech University, the school’s Facebook page posted an endearing video of Wildcat Willy escorting a husky around campus.
Today is ‘National Take your Dog to Work’ day. Last month during ‘National Best Friend Day’ NMU tweeted a photo of Willy with the husky in celebration of the holiday. MTU didn’t respond.
It seems Northern has a new pet for its mascot. It may be a nudge from Northern to prompt the Huskies to adopt a yellow wildcat in rebuttal.
