Westwood High School offers dinner and dancing

If you like dinner and dancing, then Ishpeming Township is the place to be this weekend.

Westwood High School’s Voices in Motion and Jazz Band will be taking over the cafeteria for their Annual Dinner Show, Saturday night. For $15, you can enjoy an appetizer, main course, and dessert while taking in the show. This year’s performance has a little something for everyone.

“We’re going to sing some, and then we’re going to have people go get their dinner. It’s buffet style. And then while everyone is eating, the Jazz Band will play. Then, we’ll finish it up with another set at the end. We have everything from disco to choral music, and we even have some stuff from the ’20s. It’s lots of fun,” explained Alaina Pepin, a senior member of VIM at Westwood High School.

The students developed almost all of the choreography seen in the production. Tickets are available at the high school, but they must be purchased in person. The show gets underway Saturday night at 6 p.m.
