Wendy’s manager sentenced for disorderly conduct

IRON MOUNTAIN — The general manager of the Wendy’s restaurant in Iron Mountain will spend time in jail for making sexual advances to a female restaurant employee in a bar.

Harvey Bennett was sentenced Thursday to 20 days in jail after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace last month.  He was originally charged with assault or assault with battery.

At least two of Bennett’s employees accused him of both physical and verbal sexual abuse.  The incidents occurred in April.
