Wells Fargo evacuated

MARQUETTE — Several Wells Fargo employees were displaced from work this morning after an evacuation.

Around ten a.m. the Wells Fargo on the corner of Washington and Front Streets was evacuated.

Marquette City Fire Department responded to the scene and sent firefighters into the building to investigate. Semco, EMS and other public services were dispatched to the scene as well.

A firefighter on scene said they did not believe it was a natural gas leak but rather a mechanical failure inside the building.
