Weekend weather forecast

Clouds were pesky Friday across the region as highs made their way into the 40’s.

There was some clearing late and clearer skies are set to become more of the norm as we head into the night.  With that being the case, temperatures will drop further than they did last night, with overnight lows dropping to the lower and middle 20’s.  Winds will continue lightly from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday is expected to be a transition day for us as highs reach the upper 40’s and lower 50’s.  Skies will be partly sunny to start the day but then include showers by the early evening.  As this disturbance pushes in, winds strengthen and could gust as high as 20 mph from the southeast.

Saturday night the light rain becomes heavier to continue a very wet end to the weekend.   Lows drop to the 30’s while southeast winds blow at 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday looks to be a dreary day across the region, as clouds and showers linger while temps top off in the 40’s and lower 50’s.

Stay dry this weekend.
