Weekend Weather Forecast 6/27-30

“Thunderstorm activity picks up Sunday afternoon, with some storms possibly being severe. So keep an eye on the radar. ” – Chief Meteorologist Adam Claibon

Little action across the region today, as the sun shined bright early, with rain falling later this afternoon in our western zones. Warmer air entered during the day also, which will keep overnight lows from dropping too much.

Temps bottom out in the lower 60s as winds decrease to 5 to 10 miles per hour from the south. Saturday brings more clouds, heat, and humidity, along with a slight chance of rain. High temps reach the upper 70s and lower 80s, while south winds howl at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Tomorrow night will be a muggy one for us, as a humid air mass arrives. Lows only fall to the lower and middle 60s while winds come out of the south at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
