Weekend Weather 6/13-16

It was a blast from the past today with temperatures feeling more like mid-to-late-April. Winds only added to the chill as they were between 10 to 20 miles per hour out of the northwest. However, winds are expected to decrease tonight along with cloud coverage. This will set us up for a cold night, with temps dropping near record lows. We’ll fall to the middle and upper 30s as northwest winds blow gently at 5 miles per hour.

Saturday features a mix of sun and clouds across the region with highs rebounding from the cold morning to the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds will be lighter than today, at 5 to 15 miles per hour from the southeast. Tomorrow night is expected to be milder, as lows drop to the upper 40s and lower 50s. Skies thicken with clouds and give way to a few showers while south winds stream in between 10 to 15 miles per hour.

By Father’s Day warmer air arrives, but so do thunderstorms which may cause any outdoor plans to change. Either way, have a great weekend and a fabulous Father’s Day!
