Weekend snow fall for the Upper Peninsula

Friday was chilly and miserable across the region with light accumulations seen. Tonight, colder air will return creating more travel troubles. Lows will bottom out in the low to mid teens, while northwest winds blow at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Saturday, isolated snow chances will be around, with much colder air arriving throughout the afternoon.

Highs will top off in the mid and upper upper teens, while winds continue out of the northwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, snow activity picks up again, as the frigid air settles in. Low temps will drop between the low to mid single digits, with northwest winds weakening around 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Lake effect snow will be a huge part of this weekend’s forecast along with Sunday’s temperatures, as high temps will struggle to reach the lower teens. Have a great weekend and stay warm!
