Weather Forecast May 1-2

Skies continued to be mostly cloudy across the region as scattered rain showers were also present on Thursday. More of the same can be expected as we head into tonight. Clouds and scattered rain showers fill the sky Thursday night while temperatures drop off to the middle and upper 30s for overnight lows.

Friday brings us more dreary conditions to end off the work week with rain and clouds. Highs are expected to be a little warmer than they were Thursday, as we reach the lower and mid-50s. The wet conditions last into tomorrow night with more rain in the forecast. Temperatures bottom out in the low and mid-30s with light winds coming from the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour and picking up as we get closer to Saturday morning.

The moisture sticks around through most of Saturday, and as cooler air works southward, some snowflakes could be spotted heading into Saturday night.
