Weather Forecast 8/11-12

It has been a while since a significant rainfall has fallen across Upper Michigan, but things changed today. Showers and storms were seen this afternoon and will continue to increase during the overnight, as low pressure eases into the region. Lows are expected to drop to the mid to upper-50s, as winds come out of the north at 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Tuesday keeps showers around, but pushes most of the thunderstorm activity east of the area. High temps will top off in the low to mid-60s, while north winds blow around 15 to 25 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, rain and clouds will begin to decrease quickly, as the disturbance exits to the east. Low temps will bottom out in the upper-40s and lower-50s, with northwest winds continuing at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Wednesday starts with a few clouds, but then turns sunny as high pressure takes over.
