Weather Forecast 6/5-6

A beautiful day was seen throughout the Upper Peninsula today as skies were sunny and temps were just above normal values. With this cool area of high pressure now east of us, tonight will feature milder temperatures than last night.

Lows tonight are expected to drop to the upper 40s and lower 50s, as winds lighten under partly clear skies. Friday brings us a few more clouds, with a slight chance of an afternoon thunder shower.

Highs look to be warmer as we top off in the middle and upper 70s, with southwest winds between 5 to 15 miles per hour. Tomorrow night remains mostly quiet as showers die off and lows drop to the middle and upper 50s.

Clouds increase again heading into Saturday which will be accompanied by a better chance of storms and showers.
