Weather Forecast 6/12-13

Clouds covered the region, keeping skies overcast for the majority of today.

Light showers were also around during the day and look to continue for tonight. Don’t expect many though, as the heavier showers will be east of us along the cold front. Low temps will drop to the middle 40s with northwest winds picking up around 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Moving into Friday, winds will strengthen more while temperatures stay cool. Gusty northwest winds look to be around 15 to 25 miles per hour, as high temps only topping off in the low to mid 60s. Skies remain mostly cloudy during the morning before they clear later during the afternoon. By tomorrow night, most of the clouds should be gone with high pressure taking over.

However because of that, temperatures are expected to drop quickly into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds will lighten between 5 to 10 mph. Saturday features slightly warmer air and partly sunny skies, which will provide a beautiful start to the Father’s Day weekend.
