Weather Cancels Area Sports on Tuesday
Today\’s snow and ice has canceled all of today\’s local high schools sports.
Cancellations include track meets at Rapid River, Escanaba, Iron Mountain, and Houghton. No make-up dates have been set. Some meets will not not be made up.
Tennis matches at West Iron County, Norway and Iron Mountain have been canceled. Norway will try again on Wednesday (4/27), when the Knights host Gwinn.
The scheduled doubleheaders in softball at Gladstone, Rapid River and Norway have been canceled. Gladstone\’s games with Marquette have been re-scheduled for Tuesday 5/17 at Marquette\’s Hurley Field.
Area baseball was also canceled. The game between the Marquette and Norway high school teams has been re-scheduled for Friday in Norway.
