Watersmeet Girl Still Critical
A 9–year–old girl from Watersmeet is still in critical condition after being hit by a car on Saturday.
Jersey Spolarich is being treated at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
She was hit by a car while riding her bicycle on US–45 Saturday afternoon.
At the time of the accident, State Police from the Wakefield Post said Spolarich was riding her bike in the highway’s southbound traffic lane.
The investigation is ongoing, but officers say the driver who hit Spolarich was not speeding and had not been drinking.
