Walmart Shoplifter Awaiting Sentencing
A Delta County woman will be sentenced on March 5th in connection with thefts from the Walmart store in Marquette Township.
27-year-old Marie Johnson of Rock turned herself in to police last Thursday.
Police say Johnson’s maroon Ford SUV is seen pulling into a parking space at Walmart in a surveillance video from December 16th.
Johnson has been identified as the woman inside the store moments later.
The video shows what appears to be the theft of two laptop computers.
She’s been charged with second-degree retail fraud.
Johnson was arraigned in 96th District Court in Marquette last week.
