Wakefield Man Jailed for Domestic Violence

A Wakefield man is in jail on domestic violence-related charges.

State Police from the Wakefield Post say they got a 911 hangup call yesterday.

When they got to the house the call came from, police say Allen was sitting on the front steps, covered in blood.

Troopers say Allen told them he’d cut himself several times.

When they investigated, they say Allen allegedly threatened his girlfriend and other people in the house with a knife and other occupants.

They also say Allen threatened to burn the house down.

They arrested him for aggravated domestic violence and assault with intent to commit bodily harm less than murder.

Allen is being held at the Gogebic County Jail on $100,000 bond.
