Vetoed! Eagles, Lions have deal nixed

One day after the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles had arranged a two player, one draft pick trade, both players were sent back to their respected teams after one of the players having a medical issue.

Jerome Harrison, who the Lions wanted to send along with a 7th round pick in 2013 to the Eagles for running back Ronnie Brown. Harrison reportedly failed a physical.

With the trade not happening, the Lions will look to veteran running backs Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams to fill in for their starting running back Jahvid Best, who is out with a concussion.
