VA working to improve Veterans Crisis Line

CANADAIGUA, NY — The U.S. Department of Veterans announced two improvements to the Veterans Crisis Line.

The Veterans Crisis Line is a life saving resource for Vets who find themselves at risk for suicide.

Officials say the line will work on building a stronger partnership with the VA’s Suicide Prevention Office and Mental Health Services, and directed by the VA’s Member Services. These initiatives came after hiring new staff members and responders.
