USOEC wrestlers win two medals

USOEC LogoTwo Greco–Roman wrestlers from the United States Olympic Education Center took home medals at the New York Athletic Club Holiday International open over the weekend.

Trasher Porcher took home a silver medal in the 66 kilogram weight class. His teammate, Tanner Andrews, took home a bronze medal in the 74 kilogram weight class.

Two other USOEC wrestlers, Mark Stenberg and Parker Betts, finished in fourth place. Stenberg participated in the 84 kilogram weight class and Betts competed in the 84 kilogram weight class.

The New York Athletic Club Holiday International Open has been around for more than 50 years. The International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles, the official governing body of international amateur wrestling, was in charge of the event.
