USOEC Wrestlers win multiple medals
The United States Olympic Education Center Greco-Roman wrestlers captured a team title and six individual medals this past Sunday, Sept. 29, while competing in the International Cup Eduardo Campbell Senior Tour in Panama.
Alejandro Sancho of Miami Fla., in the 66 kilogram weight class, Zac Nielsen of Zimmerman, Minn., at 84 kilograms, and Parker Betts of St. Michaels, Minn. at 96-120 kilograms, each won a gold medal.
Alec Noa of Lombard, Ill., at 50-55 kg, Joseph DeNova from Fortson, Ga., at 60 kg, and Tanner Andrews of North Aurora, Ill., at 74 kg, each took home a silver medal.
The six medals won by the USOEC team were the most among all nine teams in the tournament.
