UPSET seizes marijuana in Chippewa County

KINROSS — An Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team investigation on Tuesday resulted in the seizure of marijuana and additional evidence.

UPSET detectives say they seized 85 marijuana plants, $3,900 in drug proceeds, and grow equipment from a residence in Kinross as a result of an investigation involving the illegal sale, distribution, and manufacturing of marijuana. The investigation remains ongoing.

Detectives from UPSET were assisted by troopers from the Michigan State Police St. Ignace Post.
