Upper Peninsula Weekend Weather Forecast 7/8-11

Shunk-Grey

Quite the active day across the Sunrise Side to end off the work week, as we dealt with scattered thunderstorms with heavy rain. Tonight, we’ll keep the showers in place, but thunderstorms should head east. Lows will drop to the mid and upper-50s, while north winds blow at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Saturday, the light rain lingers early, before ending later that afternoon, with clearing occurring afterwards. Highs will top off in the low to mid-70s, while winds continue out of the north at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, clear skies develop with high pressure moving in. Low temps will bottom out in the upper-40s and lower-50s, while winds calm. A beautiful afternoon awaits us Sunday, with sunshine and comfy temperatures in place. Have a great weekend!
