Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 8/8-9

Shunk-Grey

After having a more comfortable air mass in place over the weekend, a bit more of that heat returned on Monday. Tonight, the clear and quiet conditions continue with high pressure keeping control. Lows will dip to the upper-50s and lower-60s, while south winds blow at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Tuesday, the sunshine remains in place, while the heat takes a firmer hold. Highs will top off in the upper-80s, while winds continue out of the south at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, small chances of rain show up, but don’t look to arrive until well past midnight. Overnight temps will fall between the mid and upper-60s, while winds shift out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Even better rain arrives by Wednesday, and stick around into the end of the week.
