The heat just kept coming Wednesday afternoon, as sunshine blazed the region. Tonight, we’ll watch for a quick round of showers and storms, as the humid and warm air mass lingers. Lows will drop to the mid and upper-60s, while southwest winds blow at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Thursday, mostly sunny cloudy dominate, with more rain chances on the way. Highs will reach the upper-60s and lower-70s, while winds shift out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, spotty showers linger, with slightly cooler air arriving. Low temps will fall between the low to mid-50s, while winds continue out of the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Scattered light rain hangs around Friday, with very little thunderstorm activity.
