Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 3/3-4

Tuesday brought more than 2 inches of fresh snow to the majority of the region, as the mild air remained in place. However, tonight the snow will leave, with another wave of arctic air arriving.

Weather Forecast:

Lows will fall between the low to mid single, with winds shifting out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Wednesday, skies will become partly sunny, with a slight chance of an afternoon flurry.

Highs will top off in the upper single digits and and lower teens, while northwest winds blow at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, skies will become mostly clear, allowing temps to drop quickly. Lows will drop around -10 to 0, while NW winds weaken to five mph. More sun and more cold await us on Thursday, as winter holds on for another day.
