Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast: 3/2-3

The work week started off pleasantly, with sunshine and mild air in place. Temps will drop quickly for us tonight, before clouds enter in front of our snowstorm tomorrow.

Weather Forecast:

Lows will drop into the lower teens, with southwest winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tuesday becomes a lot more interesting with snow moving into the region. Expect accumulations around 4-8 inches, as a winter weather advisory is in effect for our coverage area from 7am Tuesday through 7pm Tuesday.

Highs will top off in the upper-20s and lower-30s, while south winds blow between 10 to 20 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, the snow will end off, as colder air returns. Low temps will bottom out in the lower single digits, while winds turn out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. We’ll go back into the deep freeze Wednesday, with a frigid arctic high building into the Great Lakes.
