UPDATE: Fatal ORV accident
The investigation continues in Marquette County in a fatal weekend ORV crash.
It happened in Champion Township at about 5:30 pm Saturday on the Clear Lake access road. The Marquette County Sheriff’s office says 51–year–old Michael Argall of Ishpeming was riding a four–wheeler toward Clear Lake.
Police say when he went around a downhill curve, he lost control of the machine. The four–wheeler hit a tree on the shoulder of the road.
Argall was not wearing a helmet. He died at the scene. Bell EMS and Michigamme–Spurr Township First Responders assisted at the scene.
