Officers from the Chocolay Township Police Department say they were notified that a 2003 silver Grand Am had been stolen from the 100 block of East Fairbanks Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers realized they had passed a car matching that description on Lakewood Lane, but they were initially unable to locate it again. He was arrested on charges of unlawful driving away of an automobile and resisting and obstructing officers. He was housed at the Marquette County Jail, and his name is being withheld pending arraignment. The stolen vehicle was returned to its owners.
