Unusual Arrest in Negaunee Break-In
It was an easy but unusual arrest this morning for the Negaunee Police.
They were dispatched to a call of a man breaking into a vehicle early this morning.
When they arrived at the location, the suspect was standing on the porch of the home.
He was identified as 38-year-old Anthony Jacobetti of Negaunee.
The resident of the home confirmed Jacobetti was the man he saw breaking into his vehicle and possibly his home.
Police say Jacobetti was intoxicated.
They arrested him on a felony charge of breaking and entering.
If he’s convicted, Jacobetti could face up to 5 years in prison, a $10,000 fine or both.
