U.P. Weather Forecast 11/11-12

It was an extremely wintry afternoon on Tuesday, as many areas saw more snow and wind. By tonight the harsh conditions die down a bit, as arctic air rushes in. Snow will lighten, but still anticipate another 2-4 inches to fall. Lows will drop to the upper teens and lower-20s, while winds northwest blow between 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Wednesday, the new cold air mass will help produce lake-effect snow during the afternoon. This will give the region an additional 1-3 inches of accumulation. Highs look to top off in the mid and upper-20s, while northwest winds continue between 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, expect more snow as colder air oozes southward. Another 1-3 inches of the white stuff is possible. Low temps will bottom out in the upper teens and lower-20s, while winds come out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Better snow chances show up on Thursday, as a weak disturbance passes through.
