One young student from Autrain-Onota Public School, now has his artwork published in a Detroit Tigers Baseball Player’s book.

Fifth grader Kody Beauchaine drew a picture of what he wanted to be when he grew up.

His drawing of becoming a rockstar, was one of 29 Michigan students chosen out of over 230 entries.

The winning drawing are in Tiger’s Baseball Player Curtis Granderson’s “All you can be: Dream It, Draw It, Become It.”

As a winner, Beauchaine got to go to a Tiger’s game…and got Granderson’s autograph.

The contest challenged fourth graders in the state to start thinking about their future and the importance of education.

Granderson’s book came out this summer.

The entire school is excited for him.

It’s also exciting year for the school because they have added 7th and 8th grade.
