This year’s week’s worth of fun will feature plenty of activities for festival goers young and old. They’ll be games, rides, prizes, an epic demo derby, car racing and gigantic sand sculptures. Other can’t miss attractions include circus acrobatics, the showboat spectacular, a barnyard review and a live zoo carnival. The always popular food vendors will be serving up everything from elephant ears to pizza pasties and subs.

“It’s a lot of work, we have to cut up a lot of meat, we do quite a bit, we will probably serve 300 to 400 people a day,” said Erik Johnson, D & M Subs Owner.

Star–studded musical acts will grace the stage at this year’s fair, including six time multi platinum recording artists Blood, Sweat and Tears, American Idol runner–upBo Bice, and plenty of other platinum and award winning acts.

The festivities begin Monday, August 11th and run through Sunday, August 17th. Tickets for adults are just five dollars on opening night.
