U.P. man to have drug charges dropped

BARAGA COUNTY — An Upper Peninsula man charged with maintaining a drug house will soon have that charge and all of his other charges dropped.

55-year-old Dan Charles Grandy of L’Anse was arrested last month after UPSET detectives executed a search warrant at the Superior Relief Provision Center in L’Anse. Grandy is the owner of that business.

UPSET detectives seized an unknown amount of marijuana during the bust. Baraga County Prosecutor Joseph O’Leary told ABC 10 earlier today that Grandy would have all of his charges dropped once he closes his business.

Grandy was facing four felony drug charges.
