More than 200 people got together in Marquette today for the annual U.P. Energy Summit.
Delegates from communities across the U.P., along with politicians, members of the energy industry and others all listened to numerous presenters.
The speakers touched on everything from EPA regulations to policy issues at both the state and federal levels.
Those presenting also filled the audience in on upcoming and new energy projects.
Brett French of the American Transmission Company says the company has a lot of projects it’s been developing that are about ready to move into the field.
He says ATC is beginning construction on those projects.
UPPCO, the American Transmission Company and Wisconsin Public Service co-hosted this year’s summit.
