Two-vehicle accident sends four to hospital
ESCANABA — Four people were taken to the hospital after an accident in Escanaba Tuesday evening.
Officers from Escanaba Public Safety say the two–vehicle accident happened shortly before 6:00 p.m. on the 1200 block of North Lincoln Road. A northbound passenger vehicle was approaching 12th Avenue North when a truck pulled in front of the car from that street while attempting to head south on North Lincoln Road, causing the accident.
The four people were treated by Rampart EMS and taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital for further evaluation. Escanaba Public Safety says the incident is still under investigation and the names of those involved are not being released at this time.
Public Safety was assisted at the scene by Rampart EMS and the Delta County Sheriff’s Department.
