Two month investigation leads to cocaine and heroin charges

IRON MOUNTAIN — After two months of investigation, one man has been arrested on drug charges.

Cornelius Woods, 36, of Iron Mountain was arrested in Marinette, Wisconsin last week. Woods has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of possession with intent to deliver cocaine after being found in possession of both drugs. He’s being held in the Marinette County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Woods was arrested in connection to a two month long investigation by KIND and the Northeast Tri–County Drug Enforcement Team. Authorities expect to make more arrests.
