UPDATE: Names released in Escanaba assault
Police have identified the two men arrested in connection with a felonious assault investigation in Delta County.
Jeffrey Dickerson, 31 and Scott Wahl, 23, both of Escanaba, were arrested after an incident in Wells Township Monday afternoon.
Dickerson was arrested after a brief foot chase when he tried to flee from a traffic stop. He is facing additional charges for resisting and obstructing police, and narcotics violations.
Wahl was arrested without incident at a Delta County residence this morning.
The victim is a 41-year-old Bark River man. He was treated and released from OSF St. Francis Hospital for head injuries.
Michigan State Police were assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Department, UPSET Officers, Escanaba Public Safety and Delta County EMS.
