ISHPEMING — Two Ishpeming men are in jail after the discovery of a meth lab near Ishpeming High School.

The Ishpeming Police say they are 39–year–old Bradley Helsten and 51–year–old Gerald Humphreys Jr.

They’re both charged with delivery or manufacture of meth or ecstasy, conspiracy to deliver or manufacture meth or ecstasy, and operating or maintaining a meth lab. Helsten and Humphreys are each in the Marquette County Jail on a total of one hundred fifty thousand dollars bond, fifty thousand for each count that each man is facing.

The Ishpeming Police and the U.P. Substance Enforcement Team arrested them Saturday during a meth bust at 703 Cleveland Avenue. Both men live there.

Helsten and Humphreys have been arraigned in District Court. They have a preliminary exam scheduled for April 7th.
