Two arrested in Home Invasions
Two men have been arrested in Chippewa County in connection with a string of larcenies and home invasions on Sugar Island.
23 year old Travis John Goetz and 22 year old Andrew Lee Hutchinson are lodged in the Chippewa County Jail.
They were arrested early Sunday morning after deputies
familiar with the case saw a vehicle that matched a tip from an eyewitness.
The pair tried to get away from police, but were captured.
Police say evidence seized from search warrants conducted links the two to more than ten incidents.
Police have recovered more than 40 stolen items.
Some of that property had just been reported stolen from a home in Sault Township on Friday.
The investigation into this strong of crimes is continuing.
