UPDATE: Man arraigned in traffic stop bust

UPDATE — 10:15 a.m. April 26th, 2016 (EDT)

One of the two men arrested in a drug stop on Sunday has been arraigned.

Twenty year-old Zebron Dahms is charged with one count of delivery and/or manufacture of marijuana, which is a felony. Dahms and another man, who has not yet been identified, were arrested by police after a traffic stop on M-35 near Wagon Wheel Lane in Forsyth Township.

Dahms is due back in court for a preliminary exam on May 3rd.


FORSYTH TOWNSHIP — A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of two men on drug related charges early Sunday morning.

Around 2:45 A.M, Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post stopped two adult males on M-35 and Wagon Wheel Lane in Forsyth Township. Money and several illegal narcotics were seized during the stop. The suspects are lodged at the Marquette County Jail awaiting arraignment in Marquette County District Court.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team along with the MSP 8th District Hometown Security Team K9 handler and his dog, Blitz, assisted troopers. The investigation is ongoing.
